CSOs giving feedback to the GNHCommission on the 12th Five year plan. Our points were "noted" said GNHC, and our concerns will be shared as the Commission meets with the lead and other government agencies. An important agreement is that CSOs will be listed in general as potential partners and collaborators in the activities of Bhutan's 12th five year development plan. Now this is an important milestone for CSOs.

We look forward to more opportunities to interact on policy issues, particularly one as important as the nation's plan for development.

With the recent recognition of civil society organisations, and the interest shown by Parliament on the state of civil society, here is an exciting moment for civil society to come together to think on -- Civil Society - what more?

The CSO 2017 retreat will review the vision statements we developed in 2016 and articulate our own statements for a policy environment in which civil society can grow.

Join us -- we encourage heads of organisations to get together for this moment in time.

Aims of retreat
